FL Native Plant Society 39th Annual Conference

Join Cadence May 18th, 2019 as we present at the 2019 Florida Native Plant Society’s (FNPS) 39th Annual Conference. This year’s conference, Transitions, will be held at the Plantation on Crystal River.

MAIN COURSE in LandArch Magazine

You don’t have to be able to see to appreciate the colorful mural on the side of Lighthouse of Broward building in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Stretching for 82 feet along the narrow sidewalk on Andrews Avenue, Maine Course portrays a mythical version of a mockingbird who has eaten so much citrus she’e begun to turn orange herself.

Bark Park at the Broward County Animal Care

Cadence provided a design for a multi-use exercise and play area while these animals await adoption. The new design will help facilitate additional programs and services which promote responsible pet ownership, as well as provide an additional platform to help conduct community outreach and education programs.

6th Annual Yarn Bombing

The neighborhood holiday tradition continues with our 6th Annual Yarn Bombing on Andrews Avenue. This year’s holiday streetscape will bring the story of The Nutcracker to the 10 street trees on the 400 block of N. Andrews Avenue. Join your friends and neighbors and come spread holiday cheer Thanksgiving weekend!

Landscape Architecture Discovery for Students

We are thrilled to stand alongside 3 other ASLA curriculum winners for the FLAA’s  2018 Curriculum Challenge! Created by landscape architects, the lesson plans serve as a tool for K-12 students to discover the career field of landscape architecture.

The Women’s Landscape Equality (re)Solution

Since 2010 Cadence was founded on Equality of Leadership. Together we support the newly released Women’s Landscape Equality (re) Solution. We will continue to live and breathe the commitments it outlines to improve how we serve our clients, cities, and employees.

Federal Courthouse Site Tour and Workshop

The Fort Lauderdale Federal Courthouse building has been declared 1 of 11 historical resources to save and preserve in 2018. Join Cadence as we present our recent design charrette submission published in Tropic magazine’s as part of this free workshop.

Six Affordable SFCLT Homes Break Ground

The formal groundbreaking for the six new houses will be Monday, in a lower-income part of the city near Hillsboro Boulevard and Dixie Highway.
