Located on Singer Island, the Amrit Ocean Resort and Residences poised to be the signature resort development on the peninsula. Cadence served as the site planners and landscape architects of record for the two 32 story towers.
Scope of design included entry signage, arrival court layout and water feature design with valet only service, 10,500 SF of residential roof deck gardens, resident’s dog park, 12,700 SF resident’s pool deck, 11,500 SF Hotel pool deck with ocean view terrace, all located at the third floor amenity deck. At ground level, scope of work includes outdoor spa treatment pools and garden lounge, hotel kid’s splash pad and hotel event lawn. Cadence worked closely with the design team, and ownership to produce a lighting plan based on FWC’s Sea Turtle Lighting Guidelines. Cadence provided DEP landscape plans for revegetation and dune restoration for the beach front property. The site design concept is derived from the myth revolving around the “Elixir of Life”. Materials, patterns, and textures found within the outdoor environments pay tribute to the tale of Vishnu’s transformation into a turtle. Through the strong association with local culture, history and healing attributes of nature biomimicry is alive throughout the design.
