Cadence provided master planning through construction administrative services to deliver a lush landscape for this Weston Residence. Located in a neighborhood filled with Mediterranean Revival architecture, this Tropical Modern residence stands out for all the right reasons. The central entry courtyard on the property features large swaths of ground covers displaying stately bromeliads and native Silver Saw Palmettos to visually enliven the space. Complete with a lawn seating area featuring a specimen Brazilian Leopard Tree and water feature, the courtyard provides an exciting arrival sequence while also serving as a space for the homeowners to gather and enjoy their front yard. High tree canopy combined with low planting highlight the architecture at the front of the property.
With a planting palette that is over 50% native, ferns, grasses, soaring palms, and buffering trees are utilized to provide layers of visual texture throughout the site. Cadence brought in a vegetative buffer of native trees and palms to shield unsightly views of the neighboring properties, while creating compositions that are appealing when viewed through the floor to ceiling windows in the interior living spaces of the home. The rear yard maximizes space for entertainment, complete with pool and spa, as well as a covered outdoor kitchen.
