Cadence was the site planner and landscape architect for the exterior grounds of this 80,000SF commercial warehouse project. Serving as the global headquarter location for this textile design company, the project goal was to extend the workspace into the exterior grounds, create outdoor employee amenities and disguise the large warehouse with a heavy native planting scheme not typically found in this industrial zone. Cadence designed the parking lot as a relaxing experience for the employees arriving and leaving from the building. The landscape material includes specimen trees, character Sabal palms and a native understory plant pallet supplemented by a reclaimed water irrigation system. Other spaces include a raised oolite arrival terrace, palm dining deck, bocce ball court and food truck plaza space.
