RE-imagine

On July 27, Revelers will be treated to another fabulous art exhibit in the main exhibit space located at the center of the block. Enjoy the curated show highlighted with live musical performances throughout the day by Corey Bost, Joel DaSilva and the Midnight Howl, Richard Vergez, and Steph Taylor.

Revel on the Block Take 2

Revelers, we’re getting ready again. After a great turn out in January, Revel on the Block in Fat Village Arts District is back.

Little Garden That Could

If you follow Cadence closely you have definitely heard us mention Flagler Garden at some point. A recent hot topic featured in the Sun Sentinel, Tropic Magazine and Inside South Florida the garden has garnered support and followers eager to see the community amenity come to life.

Hi Neighbor!

The progressive online news magazine GOOD has declared April 27th Neighbor Day. Sounds good to us! We have folks ask us all the time why we do events like Revel on the Block, PARKing Day FTL and Play Your CIty FTL.

FTL Play Your City

Join us for the double header launch that will create a public art and music installation for residents and visitors of Fort Lauderdale. View all five pianos, repurposed by artists, in one location before they are dispersed throughout Downtown FTL for their 3 month display.

Monthy Pop-up Gallery

When we decided to set up shop in the middle of FATVillage Art District, we knew converting our space into a temporary gallery must be a part of the plan. On October 6th we finally got our feet wet, and the Cadence Pop-up Gallery opened by launching CHAIRs.

Better Block FTL

It’s a funny thing in life when you have those rare moments where timing, talents, resources, people, and energy converge to create something that is truly amazing. We’ve all felt it before and we know to cherish and nurture it because it is special.

Take ONE, Give ONE

We want YOU to help US start something that matters. What is ONE thing that every person has? TIME. Each and everyone of us has 24 hours every day. But what we choose to do with that time, is what really matters. It’s a contest!

It’s a Contest!

On January 16th, we will be hosting an online contest for a chance to win your own copy of Blake Mycoskie’s Start Something That Matters. Sign up, follow us on Twitter, or join us on Facebook as we reveal what matters and how you’ll help us make it happen. See you back here in January.

Small Business Saturday

As we approach two years in business, we continue to be big supporters of our fellow Small Business Owners. So this Saturday, November 26th, join us as we participate in Small Business Saturday. Make a big impact by choosing to shop with one of your local shop owners.

PARK(ing) Day FtL 2011

How did we unpave a parking space and put up a park? Some serious sweat equity, a good game of phone tag with City officials and about $130
