Rebecca Bradley and Gage Couch, Owners of Cadence, are not your typical Landscape Architects. From their gorgeous portfolio of projects to their masterpiece of a website to their core values and ethos that drive their business decisions, Rebecca and Gage have created something incredibly special and meaningful.

Luxury Living Late in Life

The design of Riverwalk Residences targets seniors who want independent-living apartments and others who need assisted-living apartments or special-care apartments to manage memory loss. This mix of units would allow some elderly couples to reside under one roof.

Fort Lauderdale’s First Urban Senior Housing

Developed by Fort Lauderdale-based Ocean Land Investments, the Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas is slated be a 42-story tall senior living community featuring 401 units consisting of 192 independent living, 152 assisted living and 57 memory care residences.

A Long Walk

Fort Lauderdale continues to experience rapid, sustained population growth. The question isn’t whether the city will continue changing into a more urban, crowded place – it will. The question is what we do about it.

Cadence in the Press

In anticipation of this year’s awareness campaign for World Landscape Architecture month, we’d like to take a moment to share a compilation of recent articles on Cadence’s role in shaping physical and social landscapes.

Les Plus Beaux Jardins

In December 2014, we were contacted by Bruno Waraschitz, Editor in Chief of Les Plus Beaux Jardins – a French magazine focused on the beauty of gardens and those who design them. The editorial for their summer 2015 issue is dedicated to ‘The Best of Florida Gardens’ and we are delighted to share with you a feature on one of our waterfront residential gardens, Sunrise Key.

Behind the Scenes

We had a close friend and fellow designer call the other day to congratulate us on our recent accomplishment in Jefferson Parish. He then said “so why do you think you won?” We believe there were two primary reasons: The solution was both inclusive and digestible.

Cadence Awarded First

There won’t be any problem finding $30,000 to pay the Florida consortium that designed a playground, volunteer plaza and botanical walk as part of the winning contest entry to beautify the West Esplanade Avenue drainage canal in Metairie.
