Position: Landscape Designer
Minimum 2 – 5 years experience
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 – 5 years experience for a landscape designer position. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong design and graphic production skills. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with construction documentation, horticulture knowledge and comfortable with planting design. Candidates must be detail oriented; exude time management skills; adaptable to changing deadlines and project priorities; and work well collaboratively. Designers are expected to think critically, show pride in the work they produce and contribute creatively to the design process.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College
- Minimum 2 years of landscape architecture profession experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, LandFX, and Adobe Suite
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling programs (Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion)
- Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Exemplifies high level site design skills
- Responsible, hard working, and self-motivated
- Ability to self-edit work and command a high level of accuracy
Additional skill sets a plus:
- Multi-Lingual
- Design competition project coordination
- Knowledge of subtropical plant material, native to South Florida and Caribbean
