Avion Riverwalk is a 10-acre urban redevelopment project situated along the Intracoastal Waterway in Boynton Beach, Florida. Cadence collaborated with the development team and multidisciplinary consultants from entitlements through design development and construction administration, providing on-site observation services to ensure design integrity and constructibility throughout project delivery.
Cadence’s scope encompassed all exterior environments, including public realm improvements, private residential amenities, and the interface between these zones. Design elements included streetscape improvements, a residential arrival court with integrated water feature, waterfront promenade, resort-style pool deck, residential common areas, and a 9th-floor sky lobby terrace.
The public Riverwalk component addresses the city’s waterfront access mandate, providing an accessible recreational corridor for residents and the broader community while enhancing connectivity along the Intracoastal Waterway. The planting palette emphasizes native palm species and coastal understory vegetation, establishing a regionally appropriate landscape that reinforces the site’s ecological context and waterfront character.
The resulting design framework integrates ecological performance with urban amenity programming, creating a resilient coastal landscape suited to Florida’s dynamic environmental conditions.
