The Inside Out Project is a global art project that transforms messages of personal identity into powerful urban exhibitions. The project is a collaboration between the French artist JR and groups of people throughout the world who are looking to spark conversations and generate awareness through art. The project was revealed during JR’s 2011 TED Talks and also has been documented by HBO Documentary Films.
South Florida local, Kristina DaSilva, set out to bring the first Inside Out installment, Faces of Art, to Fort Lauderdale which debuted in 2013 in FATVillage Arts District. The visual art project explored the diverse talents of our local creative community through the use of portraits and brief biographical stories.
