PARK(ing) Day 2014

On Friday, September 19th, join Cadence as we celebrate our 4th rendition of PARK(ing) Day FTL. This year’s installation by Cadence will be held in two city parking spots at NW 5th Street and N. Andrews Avenue in the Flagler Village neighborhood and will run from 9am – 4pm.

Traveling by land or by the New River, Stranahan secured fair trade with the Seminoles and took on leadership roles that began both the educational and commercial development of our City.

Closing of Pose Opposite

The Cadence Pop-up Gallery exists to highlight progressive and contemporary design as it relates to the living environments we encounter as humans. The gallery seeks to showcase artists, designers and creators who explore functional art and design.

“Pose Opposite” has been a very consistent concept within the work. There is a sense of reflection, questioning and acceptance in each painting. In this regard, “Pose” takes on the following meanings: to affect a particular mental attitude, to represent oneself falsely and to question closely.

Meet Us at the Drive-In!

Come out and enjoy short films in our neighborhood park as the lawn is transformed into a bike drive-in for the night. So make sure to BYOB&B (Bring your own bike & blanket!) and meet us Saturday, February 1st from 8-9PM at Peter Feldman Park. This event is hosted by Cadence, Third Avenue Art District, Glavovic Studio, and Girls’ Club as part of the Third Avenue Art District Annual Artwalk.
