by: Lindsay Moore I’m from the Southwest. Landscape there is more cacti and plateaus than palm trees and water. In New Mexico, you can see for miles; only the horizon and the occasional mountain get in the way. It’s sparse, and it’s beautiful, of course. But the contrast between desert and tropical wonderland is black and white. I can’t choose one over the other, but lemme tell you, South Floridians live in a wild green jungle.
